I’ve been with Smiths News since October 2003 — over 21 years now! I started my journey as an NRS Scanner at the Hornsey Depot when I was just 22. Since then, I’ve progressed through several roles including Supervisor, Operations Support, Deputy Manager, and now Depot Manager at our Stevenage depot.

My day-to-day responsibilities as Depot Manager include leading the team, managing operations, resolving challenges before they arise, and making sure everything runs smoothly. I’m hands-on and fully involved — whether that’s strategic planning or supporting the warehouse team directly. It’s a high-energy role, but I thrive in it!

I love fast cars and track days are my absolute passion. There’s nothing like the rush of pushing my car to its limits. I also enjoy exploring new places with my family, going on spontaneous road trips, and discovering hidden gems around the UK.
