I’ve been with Smiths News for just over three years now. Currently, I’m the First Line Manager at Hemel DC, overseeing and supporting every aspect of the operations in our stockroom and media departments.

I love the dynamic nature of the job and the fact that every day brings something new. Its an exciting period for Smiths News, and I enjoy getting involved in projects that are guiding the business towards improvement and growth. Additionally, I enjoy the privilege of working with a great and supportive team.

During any downtime at work, I try to engage in activities that allow me to learn something new, whether it’s observing parts of the operation in more detail, reading relevant literature, or completing courses available on My Learning. Outside of work, I spend quality time with my family, and I also enjoy cooking and reading.

I would give my younger self the reassurance that was lacking at the time. A little boost of confidence can go a long way. Hard work, dedication, and resilience do pay off. Guided by this belief, I now strive to provide the same encouragement to my team members.
